Dr. Brandy West is the visionary founder and CEO of Learners are Leaders, Inc. With nearly 20 years of experience in education, her expertise encompasses various educational settings, including public schools, universities, and educational policy. For over 15 years, Dr. West has been dedicated to paving pathways to higher education through innovative college coaching and transformative college tour experiences for K-12 students.

Dr. West holds a Doctorate in Education Policy and Leadership from Southern Methodist University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Texas Woman's University, and certifications as a teacher and principal (EC-12) in Texas. Her passion extends to health and wellness, as she is certified in CPR, youth mental health coaching, nutrition coaching, and is a USATF Level 1 certified track and field coach.

Her career began in the classroom, where Dr. West worked tirelessly to develop effective instructional strategies tailored to her students' diverse needs. Her commitment to equity and innovation in education propelled her into leadership roles such as Magnet Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal, where she championed initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for marginalized children.

Building on her successes in public school administration, Dr. Brandy West transitioned to higher education, contributing as an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor in the College of Education at Southern Methodist University and Sam Houston State University. Alongside her academic endeavors, she has dedicated more than a decade and a half to college coaching, guiding families through the intricate college admissions process and offering customized university tours that foster early college awareness. Through her expertise in instructional design, teacher training, and policy development, she has profoundly impacted countless educators and future leaders, earning widespread recognition as a leader in educational leadership committed to equitable opportunities for all learners.
