Talitha Smith, LPC, is an educator, mental health professional, and advocate for individuals and families with more than 13 years of experience supporting youth in educational settings. Her professional background includes special education, student support services, IEP development, and school-based collaboration, where she has worked closely with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and personal growth.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Talitha provides mental health services that support the emotional, behavioral, and developmental well-being of children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her combined experience in education and mental health has strengthened her belief that social-emotional learning serves as a critical bridge between academic success, healthy relationships, and lifelong wellness. She is passionate about helping individuals build resilience, navigate life's challenges, and develop the skills needed to thrive across all stages of life.
As a board member, Talitha is committed to expanding opportunities for youth, strengthening families, and supporting programs that foster resilience, leadership, and community connection. She believes that when individuals are equipped with the tools, support, and encouragement to succeed, stronger families and communities naturally follow.
